Cornhusker State Games

Some Top Flight members and their families gathering for the Parade of Athletes

The Cornhusker State Games is an annual amateur sports festival for Nebraska athletes of all ages and abilities. The Games, held the third week in July, offers 53 events including Badminton. An Olympic-style opening ceremonies, a statewide torch run and a down-home barbecue called the Family Fest provide family-style entertainment and promote a key state games ideal--unity in competition. More than 2,500 volunteers, 50 corporate sponsors and hundreds of financial and in-kind contributors provide the manpower and resources necessary to serve 13,500 athletes annually.
